This Spring offers some exciting events at the Heritage Park Zoological Sanctuary.

The schedule is brimming with great things to do at the Heritage Park Zoo, including special Valentine’s Day celebrations, Spring Zoo Camp and an Easter Eggstravaganza.

Valentine’s Day (Sunday, February 14, 10:00 am – 4:00 pm): Join us at the park for a day full of Valentine’s Day activities! Best of all, admissions prices will be BUY ONE, GET ONE FREE! We’ll have special animal feedings and shows happening throughout the day – and we’ll be making Valentine gifts to give to the animals. We’ll have Valentines crafts for kids, and docents on grounds providing love-themed information on all of your favorite animals. Valentine’s Day is also the day that we celebrate our Black Bears’ birthdays (Shash, 22; Gus, 4). Come out and wish them both a Happy Birthday! We’ll be giving them extra attention all day in honor of it!

Other spring activities to put on your calendar:

Spring Zoo Camp (March 7 – 11, 8:30 am – 3:00 pm): Happening the same week as PUSD’s spring break, children ages 6 – 12 can come to the zoo for a week-long day camp! This year the theme will be “Animals on the Edge”. Download the camp signup flyer here.

Easter Eggstravaganza (March 27, 10:00 am – 4:00 pm): Each Easter, Heritage Park Zoological Sanctuary hosts an EGGstravaganza!
