NAZ Suns To Attend Flying High Turkey Drive

Players, Buckets, and front office executives will be on-hand to donate 40 turkeys

WHAT: To assist the less fortunate in Yavapai County, the Northern Arizona Suns will attend the Prescott Valley Chamber of Commerce’s annual “Flying High Turkey Drive” on Monday, Nov. 20, beginning at 12 p.m.

Select players, Buckets the Ball Hog and other NAZ Suns front office executives will attend the turkey drive at Fry’s Food Store in Prescott Valley to donate 40 turkeys.

The ultimate goal for the drive is to collect 2,500 turkeys to benefit the Yavapai Food Bank, who in turn will donate the turkeys to less fortunate people so they can have a Thanksgiving dinner.

The drive will last from 12-6 p.m. on Monday, and anyone can attend and/or donate. Turkeys and monetary donations will both be accepted.

WHEN: Monday, Nov. 20

12-6 p.m. – Flying High Turkey Drive

12-1:30 p.m. – Buckets the Ball Hog and other NAZ Suns front office executives

12:45-1:15 p.m. – Select NAZ Suns players
