How can we ever forget the murder of Cathy Sposito that occurred June 13th, 1987 twenty-five years ago this June. It was an early morning hike that took Cathy to Thumb Butte that summer day. Shortly after she began the hike that she was so familiar with someone ambushed her and brutally killed her and then disappeared into the woods.
