The Town of Dewey-Humboldt would like to announce the 2016 Free Cleanup Program/Firewise Program.

On September 7-10 at 12938 E. Main Street (vacant property across the road from the museum) the Town will provide dumpsters for yard/property clean up as well as brush chipping. The event is free of charge to Dewey-Humboldt residents. Proof of residency is required. The Hours will be Wednesday 7th – Friday 9th 7:30a.m. – 5:30p.m. Saturday 10th 9:00am – 12:00pm Items that will NOT be accepted are:

  • Tires
  • Oil’s or Hazardous Chemicals
  • Refrigerators/Freezers with Freon/coolant canisters attached
  • Household Trash
  • Batteries  
We will be accepting brush and yard clippings as this will be part of the first Town Firewise Program Event. If you have any questions please call the office at 928-632-7362 and speak with Ed Hanks, Public Works Supervisor or Steven Brown, Community Planner.
