A West Coast blocking ridge will continue to dominate the weather pattern over the Southwest for at least another week. This will bring continued mostly sunny skies and generally light wind. There will be a disturbance digging southward along the east side of the ridge and into Arizona Thursday evening to Friday morning, with an associated surface cold front, but moisture will be lacking. Thus, expect some cooling on Thursday and Friday, but precipitation is unlikely for the entire week.
