PRESCOTT VALLEY- The Prescott Valley Town Council on Thursday night, August 10th, unanimously approved the final development plan for a Dunkin’ Donuts at the corner of Centre Court and Glassford Hill Road in Prescott Valley.
Prescott Valley Community Development Director Richard Parker said permits will be released Friday with construction to begin soon after. Parker mentioned the hopeful completion date will be around the holiday season.
“Its been something that a whole bunch of people in the town of Prescott Valley have wanted to see for a long period of time,” Parker said. “We are very fortunate that they chose Prescott Valley.”
Parker continued to say the Dunkin' Donuts is strategically located because there is a lot of early morning peak traffic at facilities like Dunkin’ Donuts. It has been planned to not impact traffic or backup traffic either on site or on the adjoining streets.
Prescott Valley Mayor Harvey Skoog is pleased to see businesses like Dunkin’ Donuts choose Prescott Valley for their new location.
“It’s a good thing for the town, it’s a good thing for the community,” Skoog said. “It seems like one business after another that have come here has succeeded.”
“The reason they are coming is because our businesses are successful,” Skoog continued.
Parker said the popular chain will have a drive-through and the most accommodating access point will be adjacent to the Hampton Inn.
