A mobile home in Dewey-Humboldt is a total loss after a fire.

On Sunday April 8th at approximately 2:00 p.m., Central Arizona Fire Crews responded to a structure fire in the 9000 block of East Cranberry Road in Dewey-Humboldt. On arrival crews found a manufactured home that was approximately 75% involved in fire.

Crews were able to quickly control the fire and keep it from extending into nearby brush and trees. All occupants, who were home at the time, were able to evacuate the fire uninjured. Several animals also escaped the fire, although as of Sunday night, one dog and one cat were still unaccounted for.
