Drug Arrest Leads to Two being Arrested on multiple charges

Following a misdemeanor drug arrest from the night prior, the Prescott Valley Police Department Criminal Investigation Section developed probable cause and executed a search warrant in the 7100 block of Sunrise Vista in the Town of Prescott Valley. Two suspects, Andrew Johansen (age 18) and Dakoda Middleton (age 22) were arrested and each booked into the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office jail for two (2) felony counts of possession of stolen property, two (2) felony counts of theft, fifteen (15) misdemeanor counts of possession of stolen property, and fifteen (15) misdemeanor counts of theft. Between both suspects a total of eight (8) felonies charges and sixty (60) misdemeanor charges.

The Prescott Valley Police Department wants to remind our citizens to be vigilant in securing their personal property, vehicles, residences, and the use of property or motion lights during nighttime hours to prevent being victimized. Our Criminal Investigations Sections (CIS) stress the importance for our citizens to document their property by marking, engraving, photographing, documenting the (make, model and serial numbers) and creating an itemized list of their valuables which enable police officers to identify owners’ property easily. The Prescott Valley Police Department encourages the community if they “SEE Something SAY Something.”
