Relay for Life Campaign - a legitimate fundraiser

In November 2018, the Prescott Valley Police Department raised over $700 to fight cancer in a “No Shave November” event which also incorporated a mustache growing contest in which the winner was Lead Police Officer Scott Rudolph. Runners up were Sergeant Daniel Hays and Officer Chad Huber.

The next fund-raiser which is now underway is the Relay for Life Campaign for the American Cancer Society. The night of the relay is May 31, 2019, and the police department has created a Relay for Life 2019 Coin which is available for the public to purchase for $10.00. All proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society. The coins are now available for sale at the Prescott Valley Police Department Records Window at 7601 E. Skoog Blvd, Prescott Valley.

Police Chief Bryan Jarrell appreciates his department’s leadership in planning early for the Relay for Life Campaign and the creation of the Relay for Life 2019 Coin.

Prescott Valley Police Department can be contacted at (928) 772-9267 for non-emergencies, 911 for emergencies, or Yavapai Silent Witness at 1-800-932-3232
