Prescott Valley Police seek public’s help to identify two people in connection to Walmart thefts

The Prescott Valley Police Department is seeking the public’s help to identify a man and woman in connection with recent shoplifting thefts at Prescott Valley, Prescott, and Glendale, Arizona Walmart stores.

On January 19, 2019, at a Glendale Walmart, a male and female entered the store. The two exited with stolen merchandise and proceeded to a waiting vehicle out of view nearby. The total value of stolen items is estimated at $1,300, not including damage to the exit door.

On January 20, 2019, a citizen reported a Walmart cart filled with more than $3,200 of merchandise behind the Maverik Gas Station north of the Walmart store located in Prescott Valley. The citizen returned the merchandise to the store. Store video later reviewed showed a man fitting the description of the Glendale theft suspect pry open an emergency exit door on the building’s north side, disable the alarm, and walk northwest in the direction the merchandise was later located.

On January 21, 2019, what appeared from video to be the same male subject drove up to a Prescott Walmart store in a dark colored 4-door vehicle. The male filled a cart with items from several departments, and then entered the garden center, disabled the locked door alarm, and exited the property with more than $1,271 in merchandise.

Police are looking for a man and a woman who both appear on video to be Hispanic or mixed race. The male appears to be aged 30-35, bald with a long goatee, 150-170 lbs. The female appears to be aged 35-40 with long black hair, 120-130 lbs.
