Tri-City Traffic Enforcement Detail

On January 13, 2020 the Prescott Police Department, Prescott Valley Police Department, Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office, Arizona Department of Public Safety and Chino Valley Police Department partnered together to conduct a speed enforcement detail between Outer Loop Road in The Town of Chino Valley and Deep Well Ranch Road in The City of Prescott.

This 4-hour detail resulted in 17 civil speed citations, 1 criminal traffic violation, and 14 other citations.

This cooperative detail was made possible with funding provided by The Arizona Governor’s Office of Highway Safety. The Arizona Governor’s Office of Highway Safety provides overtime funding to law enforcement agencies in an effort to target speed reduction, decrease impaired driving, increase seat belt and child safety seat usage as well as motorcycle safety awareness and driver distractions that cause traffic fatalities and injuries on our streets and highways.

Chino Valley Police Department would like to thank the other agencies involved in this detail and remind drivers to obey traffic laws, wear your seatbelt, don’t drink and drive, and do not drive distracted.
