On Sunday night, May 29, two 17 year old juveniles from Prescott Valley were involved in a single car roll-over accident on Glassford Hill Road near Tuscany Way. Both occupants were treated at the scene by Life Line Ambulance paramedics. The passenger was transported to a local hospital and the driver was flown to Honor Health Hospital in Phoenix with serious possible life threatening injuries.
Initial investigation revealed that the Maroon 2001 Mitsubishi hatchback was northbound on Glassford Hill Road when the driver lost control of the vehicle. The hatchback crossed the center divider over the southbound lanes and up the dirt bank at Tuscany Way causing the vehicle to roll over. The vehicle came to rest against a residential block wall. Investigation continues into the roll-over; however speed was a contributing factor.
